The Why Can't We Make A Difference Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation founded on November 25th 2005. Our goal is to help individuals with unexpected crisis situations and to offer an interim safety net.  All of our services are free of charge, 100% of our giving budget is donated from individuals and private groups.  If you are interested in supporting our foundation’s efforts, please contact us.

Our compassionate staff members are trained to help people through difficult challenges by offering charitable grants and providing referral services via other nonprofit organizations who offer various types of assistance.

It is also our intent to bring greater growth to the lives of individuals we impact in an extraordinary way.  We hope that our impact in their lives will encourage them to help others.  This is how we "Make A Difference."

Our Mission:

 

The Mission of Why Can’t We Make A Difference Foundation, is to enhance the lives of individuals by providing social and financial support to those dealing with unforeseen trials and tribulations of this world.

 

 

In November 2005 the Why Can’t We Make A Difference Foundation was formally established after witnessing the lack of support provided to assist individuals from disenfranchised communities after the floods of Hurricane Katrina. While our foundation is not a religious organization our foundations creed was founded from Zechariah 7:9, 10. “Thus says the Lord of host: Execute true justice, show mercy and compassion to his brother.” “Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor; let none of you plan evil in his heart against his brother.”

 

We are here to serve.

 

Our foundation attempts to serve ANY individual who may be in need of assistance in accordance with our foundations mission. Our goal is to assist, bring awareness, and help those in need of support.

 

Truths about the Why Can’t We Make A Difference Foundation:

• Helps to feed over 2400 individual meals a year.

• Provided over $50,000 in grants and support since our inception.

• Assistance is provided to anyone anywhere who needs support meeting our service guidelines.

• Upon request, our foundations financial statements will be forwarded to the requesting party.
